Message:
We believe the
Biblical teaching
that marriage is for a lifetime.
There are no biblical justifications for diovorce and that those in 2nd or more marriages, while their covenant spouse is still living are living in a constant state of adultry, according to the words of Jesus.
Thus, we can only pray for the restoration of first (covenant) marriages, unless your first spouse is no longer living. A second or more marriage is a covenant marriage ONLY if your previous spouses are no longer living. To stand for and pray for the restoration of a second or more marriage, while your first spouse is still living, would be contrary to the word and will of God.
The questions below are a quick guideline to determine if the marriage you are standing for is a covenant marriage or not. There are a few other sitiations that these questions do not address that would constitute a covenant marriage, but would require more indepth questions.
