If you would like to pray with others for you covenant marriage and their's and are in covenant marriage please join us. Be prepared to share a scripture and pray.
To join the call you must read and agree to the call guidelines.
In order to keep the conference call orderly and withing the guidlines of scripture, we ask that you follow the guidlines below when participating in the call. All calls are recorded and made available to the participants on request. If someone has a word of knowledge or a specail prayer for you or your marriage and you would like a copy of the call recording, just ask for it by date.
Note: The moderator has the ability to mute any caller at will, and we reserve the right to mute any caller that chooses not to follow the guidlines below.
Call Purpose, Flow & Guidelines:
The purpose of this call is to bring glory to our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ through:
prayers of praise and worship
prayers for the restoration of covenant marriages
the reading of scripture for the edification and building of the faith of the standers on the call
The general flow of the call will be as follows
Opening prayer
Reading of scripture, preferably at least one scripture by every participant, but certainly not limited to one!
Praise Reports
Praise reports could be anything that God has done in your life or situation that blessed you.
Does not have to be marriage or restoration related, although those are something that all standers love to hear about.
Prayer requests
Prayer requests are to be kept short and only enough detail to give the other participants a general idea of the imediate need or prayer concern
No spouse bashing allowed here! Please!
Other call flow guidlines and expectations
The moderator will give ample time for participants to join the call.
At 5 min after the call start time, the moderator will mute all participants and pray the opening prayer.
After the moderator "unmutes" all callers, we request that each participant "self mute" by pressing 4* on thier phone dial pad unless they are wanting to speak or pray. This is to keep the background noise to a minimum.
For each "shift of gears", moving from one segmant of the call to another, (from scripture reading to praise reports etc.) the moderator will (if needed) mute all callers and announce the segmant change. When the moderator unmutes all callers, participants are expected to move into the new segment and not continue conversation regarding the previous segment. The moderator will do his best to allow ample time for every participant to have their fair share of imput durring each segmant, but if the moderator feels it is time to move on the the next segment, we reserve the right to do so.
Things that are not allowed on the call:
spouse bashing
support and condoning of non-covenant marriages which Jesus called adultrey
not following these guidlines
not following instructions from the moderator
being disrepectful of other participants
any other conduct or conversation that is deemed inapropriate
